An endowment is created when a donor designates their gift’s principal to be held while only the proceeds of that principal are used to fund the work of Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex. Every endowment agreement is different and is created by the donor, along with Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex, to meet the wishes of the donor. The use of the funds can be directed to specific areas of programming at Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex or left to the discretion of the organization.
