Established in 1994, Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex is a non-profit housing organization.

Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity Canada, works with corporate and individual donors and volunteers to give families a hand up, not a hand out.

Habitat for Humanity is founded on the belief that decent, affordable housing is a basic human right. We partner with low-income families who:

currently live in substandard housing
are willing to contribute 500 volunteer hours
will pay it forward by repaying a zero-down payment, geared to income mortgage to the build fund for future homes

100% of all administrative and fundraising costs are paid for by the operation of our ReStore.
