Committee Members are Needed

We have a variety of committees available for people to join.  This includes
  • Family Selection Committee: An operational committee where members review partnering family applications, conduct home visits and provide recommendations on possible partners for the Affordable Home Ownership program

  • Build Committee (Windsor): While an important committee, we are not currently recruiting members

  • Build Committee (South Essex): Working with assistance from the Build Committee in Windsor, this newly formed group will assist from design to dedication of the house being built in Leamington. It includes Build Site Leaders, Material Acquisition, Seeking Donations, and Instructing volunteers during build days.  Monthly meetings, to biweekly during build season.  Commitment is three years.  Experience in construction, design, skilled trades, construction materials, lot servicing, and inspections are definite assets.  And of course building the house!

  • Community Presence Committee (South Essex): This new committee is geared to increasing the presence of Habitat for Humanity in South Essex.  From assisting in family selection, to fundraising, to marketing, to public awareness events, to... well... the sky is the limit.
