Holly has worked hard to give her girls as ‘normal’ of a life as possible;while living in the attic space of an extended family member’s home for the past 10 years. She has worked hard to try to save enough for a home but was turned away at every corner. That's when she partnered with Habitat for Humanity. She put in 500 hours of sweat equity and now has a home of her own that she will pay for with a zero interest, zero down payment mortgage.

But the story doesn't end there. Holly and her girls found themselves moving to a three bedroom, 2 bath home with no furniture. The family’s spirit amazed us - they were planning on bringing 3 sleeping bags and some board games to move into their new home, until they could purchase some furniture for their new home.

As soon as Tim Finlay, sales manager of Coulter's Furniture heard the girls had no beds he and his team stepped in and not only provided beds, they furnished and decorated the entire home.
