Affordable Homeownership
Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex helps families build and purchase safe, decent and affordable homes through a geared-to-income mortgage with payments set at less than 30 percent of gross income.
Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex receives many requests for assistance and while we strive to build homes we unfortunately are unable to assist all those that may qualify.
The build schedule may be subject to change based on funding, donations, volunteers and organization plans.
Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex builds for family units with dependent children. We appreciate the need for affordable home ownership extends beyond this criteria, however, our capacity is limited.
Families for the 2025 Build have already been selected, but we are now accepting applications for our 2026 Build. Please complete the Expression of Interest form.
