Emergency Response Program

An expansion of the Repair Revolution Program will allow us to help more residents locally, and across Ontario!

Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex has launched a bold new initiative to strengthen our community’s ability to respond when disaster strikes. With support from the Province of Ontario, we are training and equipping local volunteers to assist in emergency situations like flooding, wind damage, and extreme weather. Through this program, volunteers will learn hands-on remediation skills, support local recovery efforts, and gain the tools to deploy across the province as part of Ontario Corps. By investing in people, equipment, and training, we are not just responding to emergencies. We are building a more resilient community.

Want to make a real difference? Join our team of volunteers or apply for our trainer role to help lead this important work. Together, we can build strength, stability, and safety for families across Ontario.

Join us for our next Open House to learn more about joining the team on July 31st at 6:30pm - Held at the Habitat ReStore at 51 Edinborough St., Windsor.  RSVP Today

Charitable Bequests

These are gifts created in a will and are generally made after a person has provided for their loved ones and other heirs. A bequest gift may be for a fixed sum, or for a specified amount of the residue of the estate after other specific bequests have been distributed.

Endowments

An endowment is created when a donor designates their gift’s principal to be held while only the proceeds of that principal are used to fund the work of Habitat Windsor-Essex. Ask us about how you wish to help build a better future for families.
