Ways to Get Involved |
Habitat for Humanity is dependent on volunteers. We need people with all types of skills to help accomplish our goals in eliminating poverty housing in our community. Volunteering is a great way to show that you care about others and want to make a difference. It doesn't matter what your skills are, we have volunteer opportunities for anyone genuinely interested in making a difference in our community.
Local companies can also get involved. Habitat is always looking for companies to donate construction materials or necessary cash to cover some or all of the costs of building. Local companies can also donate any of their products or services that might help in a build.
Some companies even send employees or employee teams to volunteer on a build. This is not just good for Habitat, it is also good for the overall morale of the companies and employees involved.
